TWENTY-SEVEN The name of the exhibition also presents the group of individual EU member states. The individual states are represented here by Czech translations of their national anthems, which are a part of the installation. Wiesner is contradicting the effort of the EU to unite countries and the content of anthems of the individual member states. The EU motto “Unity in Diversity” is contradicted by the need of individual states to fight and protect their lands as a space that shall not be violated.
